The idea to establish a business school was born in the mind of Prof.N.Ganesan, Founder and former Secretary of Bharath college of Science & Management, Thanjavur. His dream to create a Business School in Thanjavur fructified in August, 2007. This Business School was established by K.Nadimuthu Memorial Educational Trust, registered under the Indian Trust Act which runs reputed Institutions like Bharath College of Science & Management & Indian Institute of Catering Technology & Hotel Management. The dynamics of today’s global business environment alerts us the need for innovative skills for success. With a concern to this need, we provide theoretical learning along with practical training to the management students to structure them to face the challenging corporate world.

Bharath Institute of Management functions from the academic year 2007-2008 with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Bharathidasan University. Bharath Institute of Management offers one of the most coveted MBA programme in India. Entry to this course is regulated by AICTE, New Delhi and Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirapalli through a rigorous selection process. Bharath Institute of Management has an annual intake of 60 students.
